Yes! We highly recommend to bring your own gear as we can't guarantee having access to equipment in good conditions. Bring the board you feel the most comfortable with. Traveling around Indonesia with board-bags is pretty common and easy to do.
Where is Lombok?
Lombok Island is Bali's neighboring island on the east that is famous for its white-sand beaches, epic surf breaks, and stunning landscapes.
It has retained a more natural, uncrowded and undeveloped environment, which attract travelers who come for its relaxed pace and the opportunity to explore the island’s unspoiled natural environment. At the same time, you will enjoy the comfort of having supermarkets, restaurants and other valuable services close to you.
We will be staying in Kuta area, famous for its largely deserted, white sand beaches. Increasing amounts of surfers from around the globe come here seeking out perfect surf and the slow and rustic feel of Lombok.
How do we get to Lombok from Bali?
BY AIRPLANE
- Bali to LOMBOK - Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport (LOP) - 40 min - around 83$ return ticket.
- Around 25 min drive from airport to Kuta - Somewhere Hotel can coordinate airport transfer for you - around $24 one way ride.

What's the flow of a day on retreat?
We will wake up early under the Indonesian sunshine on a search of waves. The surf schedule is already planned depending on tide / wind / conditions but it takes a bit of time to reach spots as we have to drive + get ready + boat so we will jump on a daily morning adventure full of natural landscapes and beauty all around.
The rest of the day will be filled with the most nourishing local flavors, relaxing workshops, movement classes, theoretical surf coaching sessions, epic sunsets, inspiring community and the highest island vibes.
